I have found the things in this article to be true. The final story about the couple especially speaks to me. I told a story to kids once about going to the "man" store (Home Depot) and the dump, etc. with their daddy on weekends, and getting a treat from the dollar menu on the way home, which they absolutely loved. Funny thing was, the person who listened best was my hubby and now he does exactly that every weekend! It has turned into a very special memory for my kids and it all started with a story. Words are powerful things.
