I am not homeschooling my children, but I feel that all parents need to inspire a love of learning in their children. There are so many wonderful resources for parents these days. Picture Books, for example, are often a complete package of integrated subjects. They make learning fun! They are quickly replaced by chapter books in many schools, but that doesn't mean that parents can't read them with their children at home. I couldn't agree more that cooking with your children, and seeking out "real world" adventures is a way to promote lifelong learning.
